Stinky Water, Help Needed
Kirsty had returned from a two week holiday to find her water smelled terrible. Not very nice for showering in, let alone drinking. A water rescue is needed, and quickly!
The tank in question doesn’t look too bad from a distance. But beware, it’s really hard to judge the true condition when looking down the access hatch. I’ve never met a tank floor that looked better up close than it did from a distance through the access hatch and the water… It’s a bit like expecting good results from trying to do your makeup looking into a dark room at a mirror that’s two metres underwater.
Here is the main cause of the issue:

Accumulated decomposing gunge, an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, viruses and other nasties. Unless you clear this out of your water tank it accumulates and grows all sorts of things in your drinking water. With lower water levels or warm summer temperatures or just leaving it there, this sort of breeding ground can quickly grow out of control and contaminate your water.
The walls also had some pretty impressive growth on them. Yuck!
Ahhhh, looking so much better!
Here the tank is properly clean and the filtered and sanitised water is being pumped back into the tank.
I would be happy to drink out of this.
One very happy client was the result:
“Max came when he said he was going to come.
I didn't lose any of my water already in the tanks as he saved it, treated it then returned it to the tanks after he had cleaned them, making this method the best value for money. Water is amazing and filters now last longer. I highly recommend Max”
